Vaura
Athletic Reformer Pilates fused with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and design. A transformative experience that goes beyond physical exercise.
The team at Vaura connected with Neverland at the inception of the brand (originally named Vive Active). The goal was to develop a strong brand with a sleek, contemporary feel and considerable wow-factor. Our vision was for a dynamic visual identity with both athletic strength and creative vibrancy.
We kicked things off with the design of a comprehensive brand suite, including a powerful brand icon and a set of luminous neon gradients (to inspire the lighting in the studio, and the greater brand collateral).
From here, I acted as the brand’s guardian, working collaboratively with the founders, and their interior design and construction teams, to conceptualise and birth an inspiring flagship studio. This included the design of signage and neon fixtures and consultation on light programming and furnishings. I also worked closely with the Vaura team on a range of print and digital design assets, encompassing marketing and promo tools and uniform/merchandise design.
Following their launch, Vaura has experienced phenomenal success, become a leading name in the Australian fitness industry and expanding beyond our shores to Singapore and the USA. Alongside this expansion, the Vaura team has taken the reigns of their own creative direction, with the original brand identity seamlessly morphing to accomodate a new name, supporting new design ideas, and taking life in global markets.
