A creative Art Therapy hub located in the heart of Bellingen, NSW. Redefining the landscape of therapy and community wellness through the lens of creative expression.
The Happymess team connected with Neverland at the brand’s inception. The goal was to develop a strong, playful and creative brand that captured their dual positioning as a dynamic community arts space, and therapeutic practice.
The visual identity aims to encapsulate the creativity, warm inclusivity and playful spirit that defines the studio. The identity is built around a central theme of shapes and collage.
To begin, the brand icon is a vibrant sun – warm, alive and energetic – representative of the brand themes of “vibrant self-expression” and “illuminating the path to healing”. It is accompanied by lively custom typography that has a sense of movement and play.
The brand kit incorporates a complete library of shapes that elevate the brand expression. As well as a series of shape-based mascots, which reflect the diversity of the Happymess community. Wearing their emotions on their sleeve, they reflect the brand’s commitment to open exploration of emotions and experiences.
Finally, the shapes play a part in branding Happymess‘ programs – with each facet of their offering represented by a dedicated shape and character.
I adore the strength of the Happymess brand identity, with every component tying in to a strong central theme, and easily recognisable as a stand-alone piece.
It’s a burst of creativity and joy, akin to Happymess’ role in the local community.
